Halte à la souffrance des primates

La Suisse garantit le bien-être des animaux. En principe du moins, car des dérogations existent, qui permettent notamment l’expérimentation animale. A Bâle-Ville, les milieux de défense des animaux ont lancé une initiative populaire visant à préserver la vie et l’intégrité des primates non humains.

En 2014, 251 singes étaient utilisés à des fins d’étude en Suisse. Keystone
